WHAT IT MEANS...

3SSB 17U - 15U
Purple Aces is proud to compete on the Adidas 3 Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) Circuit, one of the premier girls basketball platforms in the country.

The Adidas 3SSB Circuit provides athletes with opportunities to compete in front of college coaches from all levels of basketball. Through nationally recognized events and high-level competition, athletes gain valuable visibility while learning how to navigate the recruiting process. Purple Aces also supports athletes through recruiting education, resources, and guidance throughout their journey.
Competing on the 3SSB circuit means traveling beyond Wisconsin to face some of the top programs in the country. Recent seasons have included events in Texas, Indiana, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. While travel schedules vary each year, families should expect a combination of regional and national events designed to provide meaningful competition and exposure opportunities.

Through elite competition, leadership opportunities, and accountability, players are prepared not only for the next level of basketball, but for success in life beyond the game.

Jr. 3SSB teams compete throughout Wisconsin and select national events. Recent schedules have included stops in Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin, with additional opportunities based on event qualifications and team placement. Travel is intentionally designed to provide meaningful competition while balancing athlete development and family commitments.
Participation in Jr. 3SSB events provides teams the opportunity to qualify for the Jr. 3SSB National Championships. Athletes gain experience competing against top programs while learning the expectations and standards of national-level basketball.
The Jr. 3SSB level serves as the bridge between youth basketball and elite high school competition. Athletes are expected to embrace accountability, coachability, and a growth mindset while developing the basketball IQ, leadership, and work ethic necessary to compete at the Adidas 3SSB level.
YOUTH 12U - 10U
Our Youth program focuses on developing skilled, confident athletes through quality coaching, competitive experiences, and a strong foundation in basketball IQ. Players compete throughout Wisconsin while learning the habits, teamwork, and accountability that define the Purple Aces culture.

At the youth level, our focus is on developing complete basketball players. Athletes continue building fundamentals while expanding their understanding of team concepts, decision-making, and game strategy. We emphasize skill development, confidence, and a love for competition.
Teams compete primarily throughout Wisconsin against strong competition that challenges athletes while allowing them to continue developing. Our goal is to create an environment where athletes can learn, compete, and grow without losing sight of long-term development.
Athletes begin learning the standards and expectations that define Purple Aces basketball. Through practices, tournaments, and team activities, players develop accountability, communication skills, and lasting relationships with teammates and coaches.
This stage focuses on preparing athletes for future opportunities within the Purple Aces pathway. Players are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and develop the habits that will help them succeed as they progress through the program.

The foundation of Purple Aces begins here. Athletes focus on developing core basketball skills including ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, and defensive fundamentals. Our goal is to help players build confidence while learning the game the right way.
We believe young athletes learn best when they are encouraged, challenged, and having fun. Practices are designed to maximize repetitions, promote growth, and foster a positive experience that keeps players excited about basketball.
Athletes participate in local scrimmages, developmental events, and age-appropriate competition designed to reinforce learning and build confidence. The emphasis remains on growth, effort, and development rather than wins and losses.
This stage introduces athletes and families to the Purple Aces culture. Players begin learning the habits, expectations, and values that will serve as the foundation for future success both on and off the court.
