ACES join The Select 40 League and Prep Girls Hoops Circuit

December 18, 2023

After dominating the Blue Star League since its inception in 2019, with Purple Aces 17u teams winning The League three out of the five years (2019, 2022, 2023), the Aces sought out a new challenge and joined The Select 40 League powered by Select Events. Select Events offers one of the top platforms in the country (Select Events (Power24 & Select 40), EYBL, UAA, and Adidas), and as one of only two Select Events Member Programs in the state, and the only program in the state playing with its National Teams on the circuit, the move differentiates the program while positioning its players and families to play better and different competition. The move will also put its players consistently in front of a broad national collection of college coaches during live viewing period (April 19-21, May 17-19, July 12-15, July 19-22) tournaments. Select Events is also aligned with ESPNW HoopGurlz, which will push more media content and allow our players to compete in front of the evaluators tasked with the ESPNW rankings.

To ensure the regional schools which have recruited our program (Division II, III, NAIA, and Juco) are seeing our players, the Purple Aces have also aligned with Prep Girls Hoops. The Aces will play on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit (Legacy Region) for a few of our non-live viewing period tournaments in the Spring. This also aligns with the program's longterm vision of being one of many programs helping The Community First Champions Center become a staple on the AAU circuit. Prep Girls Hoops also covers our players with consistent year round coverage and will be additive to helping our players with their brand recognition on social media.

Both Leagues ensures our players are always playing in front of the right coaches, and consistently playing on hardwood courts. While also giving the players and the program larger platforms! As of December 17th, the Select 40 annoucement has garnered more than 40k views on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!

We know there is a lot of noise in the AAU/Club space. If your daugther's goal is to develop her game, grow as a person through competition, and play collegiately, you have to be aligned with a program with the structure and connections to do so. Preparing to succeed on and off the court at the collegiate level is equally important and our depth of directors, coaches, and alumni allows our student-athletes to show up to campus ready for the challenge. Playing for the proper program matters!
