A standout at West De Pere High School, Evans earned multiple honors during her time with the Phantoms. She scored over 1000 career points as a senior and averaged an impressive 24.7 points per game to garner All-Conference honors for the third time in her high school career. Additionally, she was a medalist at the Wisconsin Track and Field State Championships and graduated as the school record holder in the 800m run, 1600m relay and 3200m relay.
